I- Aims: - Help Ss review main English grammar in English 7 and how to learn English 8. II- Objectives: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the way to learn English 8 and remember some grammar: present simple tense, present progressive tense, past tense, modal verbs and do all exercises. III- Ways of working: T-Wc; T-Ss Individual work

V- Anticipated problems: -Weaker Ss might not remember the grammar in English 7. VI-Teaching procedures:

1. -up: * Greeting: - Greet Ss and check their attendance.
- Ss about the date. 2. Revision:
- Ask Ss questions: What main English grammar did you learn in English 7? - Call some Ss to answer.
3. New lesson:
* Revision English 7:
- Ask Ss:
How many units are there in English 7?
How many sections are there in each unit?
- Introduce English 8: + 16 units. + 7 separate sections in each
unit, each skill will be learnt
in each section.
* Revision main grammar:
In turn, ask Ss to retell the form, the use and give examples about some main grammar that relates to English 7.
a. The present simple tense:
- Form:
Be: am/ is/ are.
Verb: (+): S + V-s, es.
(-): S + / + V
(?): Do/ Does + S + V?
- Use: to talk about the action which
happen in the present.

b. The present progressive tense:
- Fo rm: S+ am/is/ are + V-ing.
- Use: to talk about the action which
is happening at the moment… c. The past simple: - Form: Be: was/ were. Verb: (+): S + V-ed. (-): S + + V. (?): Did + S + V? - Use: to talk about the action which happened in the past.
d. Modal verbs:
- Modal verbs: can, could, may, might, should, have to, must
- Form: S + modal V + V
