- Help Ss to know how to learn English 6 and introduces the content of English 6 and know how to learn English well.
II. Objectives:
- By the end of the lesson, Ss will have the knowledge, basic techniques about English 6 and know how to learn English.

2. New lesson:
A. Introduce the subject:
- How many topics are there in English book?
- English 6 has been built around 6 topic:
+You and me
+ Education
+ Community
+ Health
+ Recreation
+ The world around us
- A lesson contains: Topic, task, grammar, language focus, language review.
- English 6 contents 16 units each unit has two or three parts: A,B,C. After two or three units there is one period to review grammars.
- In each lesson, students have to practice 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing.
B. How to learn English:
- Explains some abbreviations:

+ (a) =Adjective
+ (adv) = Adverb
+ (prep) = preposition....
C. Some commands are used in the class:
